About the Role
We are seeking a suitably qualified candidate to join our team as an Ad Astra Fellow - Assistant Professor in AI for Biomedical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop an ambitious personal research programme and profile, complementing existing research at UCD in robotics, prosthetics, wearable and implantable biosensors, biomechanics, and medical devices.
* Deliver high-quality teaching in core subjects in biomedical engineering, contributing to bachelors and master's degree programmes.
* Build strong links with the UCD College of Health and Agricultural Sciences and the Gosset Institute in AI and digital technologies.

* A demonstrated commitment to excellence in research and teaching in Biomedical Engineering and the innovative application of engineering to health and healthcare delivery.
* Research that is complementary to research and teaching in Biomedical Engineering at UCD.
