New Business Account Manager - SaaS
My Client is looking for a business development manager with a proven track record in working and delivering in a fast-paced environment. You will have a high level of autonomy in the role after the initial training period, and the key ask from the business is that you are a proactive & target-driven individual. At a high level, you will prospect, build relationships, and close corporate training package business across the full catalogue of training solutions to SME - large enterprise clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Build a pipeline through prospecting
2. Close sizable B2B contracts
3. Build long-term corporate relationships
4. Build relationships in existing sectors and develop new relationships
5. Manage an existing book of business or regional book of business
6. Win new business in assigned new territory
7. Work closely with the delivery team to ensure clients receive the highest level of satisfaction
8. Collaborate with the marketing team to refine offerings, positioning, and materials
9. Attend events, conferences, and seminars representing the organization
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
1. 5+ years of B2B sales experience required
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills in a senior executive environment required
3. Expertise in consultative selling/solutions sales required
4. Proven ability to build relationships required
5. Proven closing ability required
6. Strong negotiation skills required
7. Experience selling into the C-Suite, Project Management Offices, or Learning and Development Department preferred
8. Experience in project management, technology, or operations preferred
9. Ability to work in CRM systems required
10. Ability to thrive in a lean and rapidly changing entrepreneurial organization required
11. Ability to move quickly and “get one’s hands dirty” required
12. Entrepreneurial mindset, inquisitive and persistent, hungry to win business and reach targets
