THE COMPANY: Our client is one of Ireland's leading suppliers of construction products.
With locations nationwide, this organization manufacturers and supplies specialist materials for the construction sector.
As part of its continued growth plans, the company is now looking to recruit a Branch Manager in Cork to manage a high-performing location.
THE ROLE: As the successful Branch Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of professionals in various disciplines, including sales, support, and operations within the branch.
There are 4 on the team currently, with varying levels of experience.
You will be responsible for driving sales of the branch by building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry, dealing with main contractors as well as the general public throughout your region.
You will also be responsible for the profit and loss (P+L) of the branch, so you must be comfortable with financial planning, or have the desire and ability to pick up this skill.
This role is based 100% in the branch in Swords, Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm.
There will be occasional Saturday work required for the role during the summer season, when they are open 8-1.
This rota is shared between everyone on the team.
FOR THIS BRANCH MANAGER ROLE, WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA: People management experience within a Builders Merchant's sales environment is ESSENTIAL!!!
