TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT & REPORTING
* Preparation of daily bank reconciliations
* Preparation of daily credit card reconciliations
* Management of Group Fleet to include monthly accruals, management of toll tags and fuel cards
* Assist with month end routine and monthly management reporting for inclusion in group monthly board pack
TAX & STATUTORY COMPLIANCE
* Assist in the preparation of bi-monthly VAT returns for ROI companies
* Assist in the preparation of quarterly VAT returns for NI company
* Assist in the preparation of Customs & Excise returns for ROI companies
* Assist in the preparation of monthly VIE’s & Intrastat returns
* Completion of Statistic office returns
GROUP EXPENSES
* Processing and payment of monthly employee expenses in conjunction with internal approval processes
OTHER
* Weekly upload of customer invoices to customer portals
* Ensuring proper execution of internal controls and procedures
* Assist with other finance tasks where possible
* Assist with group audit process
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Previous Accounts experience beneficial
* Experience working with an Accounts ERP would be advantageous
* Excellent numeric, analytical skills and attentiveness to detail
* Can establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
* Ability to multi-task, skill in establishing priorities and managing workloads
* Capable of working on your own initiative whilst keeping manager informed through clear communications
