Bridhaven Nursing Home is seeking to recruit a passionate, engaging and ambitious Deputy Director of Nursing to join our exciting new and enhanced clinical management team.

Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the Deputy Director of Nursing will be responsible for the leading a team of Assistant Directors of Nursing and Clinical Nurse managers, ensuring delivery of effective and person-centred care, leading teams to create a place where people can flourish.
The Deputy Director of Nursing will work along side the Clinical Nurse Specialist in Dementia Care, Bed Manager, Hospitality Manager, Social Care Manager and the Chef manager to provide oversight and leadership in the quality of services provided to the residents.
This is an exciting career opportunity whereby the successful candidate will be empowered by a supportive team both locally and across the broader group to lead, enhance, and shape the delivery of care at Bridhaven.
You will have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, manage within approved resources, and offer strategic and operational leadership.
You will work closely with key leaders and develop strong effective relationships with residents, families, team members, HIQA and other key stakeholders.
Interested candidates should:
Have full registration with The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland Have a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience of nursing older people within the previous 6 years Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a management capacity in the health and social care area Hold a post registration management qualification in health or a related field or be willing to commence same A management qualification or Higher Diploma in Gerontology is desirable but not essential.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills.
Have a thorough working knowledge and understanding of HIQA standards and regulations in a Nursing Home setting
