Main Purpose Of Role
Owing to continued growth in our Power Division, Murphy have a requirement for an Electrical Quantity Surveyor/Estimator who will be responsible for all commercial functions from work winning through to commercial administration of electrically biased projects. Electrical project types include:
1. Renewables (Solar, wind, BESS)
2. Water & wastewater
3. Natural gas
Role Duties
1. Receipt of invitations to tender for electrical packages of work
2. Producing estimates in conjunction with the operational team for electrical invitations to tender
3. Commercial administration of electrical projects once they have been secured including but not limited to:
4. Establishment of project folders
5. Establishment of project budget
6. Making applications for payments
7. Valuation of variations and additional items of work
8. Tracking and reporting on costs
9. Providing commercial and contractual guidance as part of the delivery team
Qualifications & Skills
Degree qualified Quantity Surveyor or Engineer who can demonstrate a background of working in the Electrical Services Industry.
