Purpose The Mater Hospital is committed to providing excellent, high quality patient care in modern facilities and in line with best practice to meet patient and staff needs. This commitment involves the implementation and development of the organisations key strategic objectives and campus-wide development. The Project Facilitator will work within the Strategic Projects Office supporting and progressing the hospitals current major change projects from a clinical, operational and people planning perspective. The Major Trauma Centre (MTC) Project is a current strategic priority for the hospital. The Mater was designated as the Major Trauma Centre for the Central Trauma Network in 2021. Since then, a project has been established to develop the hospital towards Major Trauma Centre status in a mature system. This involves the phased implementation of service development and infrastructural changes required to deliver this. The project facilitator will be responsible for co-ordinating and facilitating the Major Trauma Centre Project specifically, with oversight from the Strategic Projects Implementation Lead. As a Strategic Projects team member, he/she will also support other projects, as required.
