Joe Duffy Group Warranty Controller The Group Warranty Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the warranty process.
This role ensures that warranty claims are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with manufacturer guidelines and company policies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive systems, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and process warranty claims, including reviewing documentation, verifying eligibility, and ensuring timely resolution.
Serve as the primary point of contact between the dealership and manufacturers regarding warranty issues.
Monitor and track warranty performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement to reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty policies and internal procedures.
Collaborate with service technicians, parts departments, and sales teams to address warranty-related concerns and provide training as needed.
Maintain accurate records of warranty claims, approvals, and denials using company software and databases.
Analyze data to prepare reports for management, highlighting key metrics such as claim approval rates, turnaround times, and cost savings.
Stay updated on changes in warranty policies, industry standards, and automotive technology to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive.
Handle escalated customer inquiries or disputes related to warranties, providing professional and courteous resolutions.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in warranty management, claims processing, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems, manufacturer warranty programs, and industry regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
