The Project
Our client is Ireland's national regulated water utility firm, providing water and wastewater services throughout Ireland. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support project/programme delivery, ensuring projects/programmes are delivered safely, to quality standards, on time, and sustainably.
Key Responsibilities
* Safety First: Promote Mace's value of safety first, engaging in relevant health, safety, and wellbeing standards and activities.
* Client Focus: Ensure quality systems are managed, supporting delivery from project inception to construction phase.
* Integrity: Develop knowledge of project budgets, highlighting risks, challenges, and mitigations.
* Create Opportunity: Develop effective relationships with design teams, actively network, and manage parts of projects independently.
Requirements
* Experience in contract and commercial management desirable.
* Strong analytical skills, ability to identify problems, and propose solutions.
* Demonstrable experience in Portfolio and/or Programme management.
* Relevant third-level qualification and or accreditation in Project Management, Civil Engineering, or Construction.
* Demonstrated people management ability, proactive development, motivation, and engagement of staff.
