Our client, a leading law firm in Dublin, Ireland, has advised prominent public and private sector clients on various construction projects with complex project finance elements. The firm is renowned for its expertise and provides top-notch advice throughout the entire construction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Advising clients on all aspects of construction projects, from initial contract drafting to final dispute resolution, including:
* Procurement strategy, EU procurement issues, and contract structures
* Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, professional appointments, bonds, guarantees, collateral warranties, and associated documentation
* Risk analysis and management, project insurance, and construction administration
* Construction dispute management, including litigation, arbitration, conciliation, mediation, and adjudication
Requirements
* A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience (pqe) in a construction practice
* A strong analytical ability and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* The capacity to exercise sound judgement and decision making in pressurized situations
* Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage a busy workload and meet client needs consistently
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* A strong interest in maintaining, developing, and sharing relevant legal knowledge
Education
* An excellent academic background with a minimum of a 2.1 honours degree in any discipline
* Qualified as a solicitor or barrister in Ireland or England and Wales
