Job Description
Our client designs, installs, and services portable freezer rooms for the food retail and pharma/biotech sectors.
To provide effective commercial and contractual support to operations on a number of major projects in accordance with procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
2. To ensure timely submission and agreement of applications, cost plans, variation details, claims, and other documentation.
3. To liaise with clients and Consultants from initial enquiries through to final accounts on the production and agreement of account details and securing final payment without undue penalty.
4. Liaising with suppliers and sub-contractors and internal team members pricing variations.
5. Cost Control/Management of Projects.
6. Preparing measures and works packages for procurement and valuation purposes.
7. Negotiating and purchasing of sub-contractors and suppliers.
8. Closely monitor and process project variations.
9. Issuing tender queries and preparation of tender reports.
10. Reporting to management on the financial progression of projects.
11. Monitor project costs against budgets, identify problems/opportunities, and recommend/implement change where necessary.
Requirements:
1. 3+ years of industry-relevant experience.
2. Tendering on a variety of large-scale projects including commercial, pharma, DC, and healthcare.
3. Involved in the full tender process from beginning to completion; liaising with relevant parties on an ongoing basis.
4. A relevant third level degree and/or a mechanical trade background.
5. Experience in a mechanical contracting environment is essential.
6. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under strict deadlines are essential.
7. Excellent communication and time management skills are essential.
Package:
€60K - €80K dependent on relevant experience and qualifications.
