Job Description
We are seeking an Applications Analyst to join our public sector client's team.
The duration of the post is initially 18 months with possible extensions thereafter. The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate based on an annualised salary of €50,202. They will also accrue 30 days' annual leave per year.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Planning Phase
* Understanding Current State: Identify the current state of Oracle Health systems and applications.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations.
* Identification of Requirements: Develop an understanding of clinical, administrative, or information management workflows and document/mapping relevant processes.
Delivery Phase
* Configuration and Testing: Work with stakeholders to configure Oracle Health systems and applications, and participate in testing activities to ensure optimal design.
* Test Strategy and Scripts: Develop a testing strategy and test scripts to ensure thorough testing of applications and integrated workflows.
* Risk Management: Analyze and review test progress, identifying recommendations to maintain schedules and raising any risks or issues highlighted through testing.
Other Responsibilities
* User Training: Support user training and develop training resources.
* Process Development: Develop and maintain systematic processes for sharing information, skills, and expertise between stakeholders.
* Organisational Readiness: Support organisational readiness activities during the project and in advance of system go-live.
Requirements
* Administrative and Technical Capacity: Possess sufficient administrative and technical capacity to discharge the functions of the grade.
* IT Skills: Demonstrate IT skills, including familiarity with using/supporting IT systems and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
* Desirable Experience: Have experience or knowledge of working with or supporting hospital IT systems, or experience of project management principles and delivery.
