As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying cloud-native solutions. You will be collaborating with other engineers to create designs and getting buy-in from the rest of the company as well as open-source communities like Envoy, Istio, Kubernetes, and Cilium. This opportunity will allow you to collaborate across team and organizational boundaries.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
1. 2+ years working with eBPF, dpdk, or other linux networking technologies (iptables, nftables, etc.)
2. 4+ years of experience with C, C++, Rust, and/or Go
3. Experience building CNIs and networking plugins in Kubernetes is a bonus
Other Requirements:
4. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
5. Bachelor's Degree in Computer ScienceOR related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience.
6. Systems programming experience (e.g. sockets) in languages like C, C++, Rust, or Go
