Responsibilities
As a pivotal member of the kitchen team, you will be in charge of a specific section, including Sauce, Meat, Fish, Grill, Hot/Cold Larder, Garnish, or Pastry.
You will support the Head and Sous Chef team by organizing and running your section smoothly, managing and training junior chefs under your supervision, ensuring high levels of food quality and consistency.
Your duties will also include ordering food for your section, assisting with stock counting, maintaining food safety and hygiene files, and contributing to menu planning for dishes prepared by your section.
Requirements
A minimum of 2 years' quality experience in a similar background is essential, along with a genuine interest and natural flair for cooking.
You must have a proven ability to cook from scratch using high-quality produce and demonstrate a strong appreciation for culinary craftsmanship.
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Chef de Partie who leads by example, constantly trains, monitors, motivates, and educates staff to achieve excellence in their craft.
This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure and maintain a strong attention to detail while multitasking.
