Fixed Asset Reporting Associate

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Fixed Asset Reporting Associate with some experience in Fixed Asset reporting to be a key member of a cross-functional, multi-national, accounting team responsible for the management of the end-to-end process for Fixed Asset accounting.

Role Overview:
The Fixed Asset Reporting Associate will be responsible for processing Fixed Assets transactions in accordance with procedures and defined timelines. This includes setting up accurate fixed assets coding assignments and other required attributes, processing Construction in Process items and reconciliation of all Fixed Assets Clearing accounts against mass additions table in sub-ledger.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for the month-end close of Fixed Assets sub-ledger duties, including the analysis, recording, and reporting on fixed assets in accordance with local and US GAAP and the reconciliation between sub-ledgers and general ledgers.
Requirements:
4. Minimum two years of relevant experience in a similar role.
5. Knowledge of processing Fixed Assets transactions, including setting up coding assignments, processing Construction in Process items, and reconciliation of Fixed Assets Clearing accounts.
6. Familiarity with month-end close procedures for Fixed Assets sub-ledgers and reporting on fixed assets.
7. Understanding of ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
8. Knowledge of both US GAAP and IFRS and familiarity with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and internal controls desirable.
9. Finance Degree / Accounting Technician / Part-Qualified Accountant
