At CLdN, we're a leading provider of integrated quay-to-quay and door-to-door logistics solutions.
We transport cargo efficiently between Europe, the UK, Ireland, Iberia, Scandinavia, and other major economic areas with our fleet of 30 ships and over 200 sailings a week.
This position is part of our Shipping Operations team and plays a key role in managing our multiport ro-ro fleet of around 25 vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, implement, and coordinate all vessel movements to optimize efficiency and profitability.
* Monitor vessel performance against schedules and operational KPIs, making adjustments as necessary.
* Analyze cost implications of variances and report to management.
* Organize bunkering operations with technical teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality fuel.
* Coordinate distribution of line equipment and manage associated costs.
* Prepare statistical reports for management or develop automated reporting tools with data scientists.
Additional Tasks:
* Assist captains in improving fleet performance through strategic analysis and recommendations.
* Utilize fleet deployment software to maximize profit contribution.
* Develop business cases and analyze related data.
* Perform other duties based on skills and capabilities.
Your Profile:
1. Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as shipping operations, bunkering, Ro-Ro, logistics, cargo stowage, sailing experience (deck/engine), or fleet performance monitoring.
2. Ability to organize and plan while considering broader objectives.
3. Effective problem-solving skills with creative thinking.
4. High flexibility and availability.
5. Multitasking ability with excellent time management under pressure.
6. Strong team player with autonomy and motivation to produce individually.
7. Excellent communication skills in English.
