Overview
The sales representative will promote our service to new and existing customers in the allocated geographical territory. This role requires sales experience, and experience in a similar field sales role is a distinct advantage.
Qualifications
1. Manage the business relationships with existing customers and maximize business opportunities within this sector.
2. Identify areas for growth for the company in the Commercial and Household sectors.
3. Monitor and analyze real-time customer transactions.
4. Strong face-to-face, verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
5. Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail.
6. Proactive and reactive approach.
7. Data analysis and reporting skills.
8. Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
9. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills along with demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team.
10. Adaptable and flexible to working with multiple teams.
11. Sales experience required; this can be telephone or field sales experience. 3rd level qualification desirable, but not essential.
12. An ability to empathize with the customer is essential.
13. Strong communication and account management skills.
14. Utilize prime sales time as effectively as possible, making as many contacts and meeting as many prospects as possible.
15. Work on and assist the Sales Manager on the promotional campaigns of the company in the area.
Responsibilities
1. Promote our service to new and existing customers in the allocated geographical territory.
2. Source new business through extensive networking with existing and prospective customers.
3. Support existing customers through handling queries, liaising with our customer service representatives (CSRs), and site visits.
4. Achieve specific sales targets monthly and annually.
5. Record daily activities and sales results using a tablet or laptop.
6. Be an enthusiastic team member and actively participate in training and sales meetings.
7. Proficient with computer systems and utilize company computer system to maintain a current database of clients and prospects.
8. Submit call reports and sales orders in a timely and efficient manner.
9. Communicate with the CSRs regarding client relations and potential upgrade possibilities.
