Role Title: Urgent Care Physician - Carrickmines / Swords
Would you like to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a vibrant and team-focused environment? Over the coming months we are holding interviews with the view to placing successful candidates on our panel. We envisage full-time and part time, permanent and fixed term contract positions will arise over the coming months in both our Carrickmines and Swords clinics.

Role Purpose:
* Provide care to patients presenting with a range of urgent care presentations
* Minor injuries; including: sprains, fractures and wounds
* Facilitating referrals to specialists
* Initial interpretation of x-rays and ECGs
* Indicate any procedures done
* Treat patients who attend the clinic for consultation
Education & Experience:
* Registered with the Irish Medical Council.
* Minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in clinical practice, including significant experience in general practice and a minimum of 2 years recent urgent care/emergency medicine experience.
* Training in emergency medicine, general practice or other postgraduate qualification would be highly beneficial.
* 6 months experience with paediatric patients is desirable.
* Flexibility across a 7-day roster.
* BLS certification.

* Strong communication skills
* Good knowledge of risk management and clinical audit
