Job Description
As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of complex projects. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure technical accuracy, functionality, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of large-scale developments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the production of detailed architectural drawings, technical documents, and specifications for residential, educational, and commercial projects.
2. Oversee project coordination and liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout all project stages.
3. Ensure designs comply with building regulations, planning policies, and industry standards.
4. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and adherence to specifications.
5. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
6. Utilise industry-standard software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM tools for design and documentation.
7. Assist in resolving technical challenges and ensure quality control across all deliverables.
Requirements:
1. Degree/Diploma in Architectural Technology or related field.
2. Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in architectural technology, particularly in large-scale residential, educational, and commercial projects.
3. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM technologies.
4. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
7. Strong communication and leadership skills.
