IT Applications Support Analyst
12 months Fixed Term contract role
Fully on-site – 5 days per week
Location: Co. Meath, so you must be based within a daily commute of this location
Salary = €35-45K + bonus – flexible DOE

Opportunity to join the IT Department of a multinational organisation involved in the manufacture / production of materials, within a collaborative team of 5-6 IT engineers. The IT Team delivers Infrastructure, Networking, Desktop and Applications support and related projects that underpins both the Manufacturing & Corporate (HR, Finance, etc) functions. The Technical landscape includes Windows servers, Active Directory, M365, VMware & Linux, CISCO & Enterprise Applications such as MS Dynamics 365, Power BI, SAP and other business & manufacturing software.
As such, you will need to be on-site for 4-5 days per week, with a max of 1 day remote. Anyone who is seeking primarily a remote or more remote/hybrid role will not suit this environment.
Position
Your role will be focused on IT Software Applications Support, including the co-ordination of releases and version control & IT Support (2nd level) for finance, HR & other corporate enterprise software applications, working within the IT Department of a reputable International company located in Co. Meath.
The main applications you will be responsible for include corporate HR & Finance Systems such as TMS (Time Management) software, Payroll & SAP Finance and core Microsoft MS 365 / Office 365 applications.
You will be supporting a user base of over 500 + and your role will concentrate on providing Software Applications Support & IT systems support, including:
1. Application management (lifecycle, support, integration, etc)
2. Owning and coordinating application implementation projects
3. Workplace coordination
4. Release Management & version control of a variety of Software Applications
5. Supporting software applications running on servers
6. Configuring Desktop & Laptop computers, Mobile Phones & Tablets
7. Installing Patches on servers & network devices
8. Assisting End Users with queries and issues at 2nd level escalations
Experience Required:
1. Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related
2. 2 + years’ experience in (or as a) Software Analyst, Application Support or IT Technical Support role, supporting enterprise software applications & their integration within Microsoft Windows environments, preferably within an IT Department
3. Applications Management & Support experience + workplace support & coordination
4. Software Support / Applications & IT Systems Patching, upgrading & support experience
5. Software release management and support of some corporate applications such as TMS, Finance software, SAP, CRM, M365, O365 or related applications software
6. Service-Desk coordination
7. Excellent Communication skills, the ability to collaborate with both Technical & business colleagues, as well as being a Team player are also vitally essential for this role
Salary = €35-45K + benefits. Flexible DOE.
Location = On-site in Co. Meath 4-5 days per week.
