Thriving Manufacturing Business Seeks Experienced HR Manager
Cpl is actively recruiting for a dynamic and experienced HR Professional to join our team as HR Manager covering a maternity contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our successful team in a standalone role overseeing all HR related practices for this business.
Your New Role:
As HR Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape and drive our company's organisational culture, employee experience, and talent strategy. You will act as a strategic partner to our leadership team, fostering a workplace that prioritises inclusivity, innovation, and high performance.
We are looking for someone to take ownership of all aspects of HR including culture, employee well-being, legal compliance, policies, pay structures, employee relations, industrial relations and recruitment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Policy Development: Reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures in line with legislative requirements and best practice.
2. End-to-End Recruitment: Including annual monitoring returns to relevant authorities.
3. Employee Relations Support: Coaching and mentoring management team in ER issues and cases.
4. HR Data Management: Updating HR data to inform and support the management team.
5. Absence Management: Effective oversight of absence management procedures.
6. Employee Life Cycle: Responsible for administration duties and managing all stages of the employee life cycle, including on-boarding, development, retention, and off-boarding.
7. Wellbeing Strategy: Drive the wellbeing strategy and continue wellbeing initiatives with wellbeing champions.
8. Employee Records: Administration of employee records and maintaining GDPR compliance.
9. Other Reasonable Duties: As required by the business.
Essential Criteria:
1. Educated to A-levels or equivalent.
2. At least 3 years' experience in a HR officer/generalist role.
3. Minimum level 5 CIPD qualified.
4. Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of current employment legislation and best practice.
5. IT literate with strong skills in MS Office applications.
6. Positive work attitude.
