Job Description:
In collaboration with B Braun, we are seeking an Operations Manager for their Renal Care Business. This role involves working onsite between Provider sites, Head office and Stakeholder meetings as required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the Profit & Loss of Avitum Provider Units in Ireland, leading the relevant teams to deliver within budget and Ambulatory Channel targets.
The role requires creating and executing a 3-year growth road map aligned to the global strategy, working across the B Braun Ambulatory Channel to develop a cohesive approach and brand for the next decade.
Key Responsibilities:
* Achievement and management of Avitum Provider Profit & Loss targets.
* Development and execution of a 3-year road map aligned to the global strategy.
* Agreement and execution of a local plan around the global strategy and themes.
* Collaboration with Finance colleagues on Target plans development and delivery.
* Development and delivery of business strategies to support and achieve agreed objectives.
* Recruitment and leadership of a management team to deliver growth.
* Working within the pay and reward framework to develop team incentives.
* Leadership and motivation of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring employee development and high performance.
* Providing formal monthly updates to the management team on business progress.
* Ensuring all relevant internal and external standards are satisfied.
* Supporting Renal Units in developing and meeting revenue and cost targets.
* Seeking out and developing commercial opportunities.
* Identification and management of future Avitum Provider tender bids, builds and expansions.
* Maintaining a reliable and safe clinical environment with employee and patient safety paramount in all activities.
* Ensuring timely development and implementation of processes and products as required to develop the business in compliance with protocols.
* Budgetary control and management, ensuring financial reporting is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
* Planning and implementing sustainable staffing models for each renal unit, aligning with patient numbers and contractual staff ratios.
* Leading contract review meetings to ensure maintenance of existing business.
* Building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders for existing contracts and potential new business opportunities.
* Ensuring internal audits are performed according to schedules.
* Maintaining interface with Global Marketing & Sales and channel management to meet needs.
* Monitoring market trends to identify opportunities for new business growth
Requirements:
* Degree level or equivalent in business, technical, or life sciences.
* Leadership or management qualification, or willingness to undertake within 12 months.
* Experience in the Irish Healthcare sector.
* Several years of experience and proven track record in healthcare service provision.
* Management & Leadership experience.
* Marketing planning and implementation experience.
* Budget planning.
* Recruitment experience.
* Knowledge of HR processes from recruitment, performance management, promotion and underperformance.
* Working with external regulatory agencies.
* Full Driving licence.
* Flexibility to travel to support direct reports and their teams.
