Senior Site Project Engineer
Full-time position based onsite in Limerick.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Interact with and support the engineering department in the delivery of various capital projects.
* Management of major work packages, covering some or all project phases (from procurement, through to build and post-installation support) for successful delivery to the project sponsor, within schedule constraints.
* Coordination of works throughout the project phases to ensure successful delivery.
* Budget management (including cost control and cash flow forecasting) associated with the project.
* Provision of accurate reporting of progress against performance, time, and cost constraints.
* Ensure all works are performed in compliance with company standards, national and international standards, and regulations.
* Liaise with Designers and EHS Personnel.
* Prepare equipment specifications for material requisitions.
* Prepare Statement of Work for contractor works.
* Supervision and coordination of contractors.
* Prepare test packs for all systems.
* Review all technical documentation from vendors and contractors.
* Manage and coordinate contractor permitting.
* Field supervision of contractors.
* Validation of projects.
* Snagging of installations.
* Prepare Operational and Maintenance manuals for all systems.
* Interfacing with design, maintenance, and operations people in the plant in scoping solutions to plant problems will also be a feature of this role.
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum Level 8 Degree in Civil / Structural / Mechanical Engineering (or appropriate equivalent).
* 3 years' Post Graduate Engineering experience of which 2+ years will have been in an onsite project engineering role.
* Strong technical background.
* Knowledge of Autodesk products (AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit) and Tekla would be desirable.
* Knowledge and experience of working to relevant recognised standards.
* Experience in working in high output highly regulated industrial environments.
* Project delivery to tight schedules.
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
* Must have a current Irish / EU Work Permit.
