The Team
The Cahernane team is a group of 45 people who work together to deliver a unique, warm and hospitable experience for all our guests. From accommodation to the kitchen, reception to the restaurant, we all pull together as one team to achieve our goal to delight everyone who crosses the threshold of our hotel. The Role
If you would like to progress within your career, this may be the exciting opportunity you’ve been searching for. You must demonstrate leadership skills, and passion for the hospitality industry. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager and Deputy General Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the day to day operations within the Restaurant department. We are seeking a candidate with previous experience in a supervisory role in a hotel or restaurant, front of house with a real love for providing the best of customer service and passion for leading and developing junior team members. This is an exciting role with wide ranging responsibilities and the opportunity to get involved in all sides of managing Cahernane House Hotel.
About The Role
Some duties will include:
* Welcoming and seating our guests and getting to know them ensuring they experience a warm welcome and are offered first class service.
* Being knowledgeable and passionate about food, wine and beverages in general and our offerings here in Cahernane specifically.
* Training and mentoring junior team members to deliver exceptional customer service.
* Ensuring a positive work culture is encouraged in the Restaurant and maintaining a high standard of compliance in areas like food hygiene and health and safety.
* Helping out in all areas of Cahernane as needed to ensure the guests get the very best service.
