Production Manager
Our Client in the Northwest seeks a Production Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a strategic and tactical role, implementing operational strategy and achieving customer expectations for product quality, cost, and delivery.
The Role:
* Work with the General Manager and leadership team to develop and deliver the site's business plan and budget.
* Ensure finished products are produced in the most cost-effective manner, meeting safety, quality, and specification standards.
* Develop and maintain a positive culture of employee engagement.
* Establish KPIs and manage production output against agreed standards.
* Control site costs and report deviations with proposed corrective actions.
* Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and General Manager on CAPEX projects.
* Lead, champion, and deliver departmental business improvement plans.
* Hold regular performance reviews and set objectives for all production staff.
The Person:
We seek a candidate with:
* At least 3 years' recent experience working at a Production management level.
* A strong Food/Drinks manufacturing background and clear understanding of the FMCG industry.
* Excellent communication skills.
* The ability to prioritize and make decisions promptly.
* Strong relationship skills and excellent listening skills.
