Full job description Role Introduction: The AA is seeking to recruit a Network Field Supervisor to support the Recovery Driver and Network Manager.
The successful candidate will focus on financial oversight and compliance within the recovery network, ensuring accurate payment processing, handling accounts queries, and managing cost controls.
The role involves invoice management, financial reporting, and ensuring service compliance through fine reporting and damage claim recuperation.
Work location: The role will be based in the ROC (Rescue Operations Centre) office in Ballymount.
However, the successful candidate will be fully eligible for the AA's remote working, hybrid working and flexible working policies.
Key Responsibilities: As the AA business continues to evolve, so too will the responsibilities of this role evolve and change over time.
The primary responsibilities and focus areas for this role will include the following: Act as point of contact for accounts and invoice queries.
Monitor mileage and tolls to ensure cost efficiency.
Review and relay changes to invoices back to garages.
Conduct post-payment invoice reviews for accuracy.
Communicate upcoming invoice deadlines.
Track historical statements for reference and audits.
Monitor estimated vs actual costs for recovery jobs.
Perform financial reporting: Liaising with other departments on queries.
Fine reporting for non-compliance Monitor special requests and ensure payment on time.
Create a continuous improvement scheme for the garage network.
Communicate payment information and potential issues.
Cross check job close information with invoice data.
Resolution management.
The Candidate should have the following: Minimum qualifications, experience & skills - Financial Operations - Minimum 2 years in financial management, accounting, or cost control roles (preferably in fleet management, vehicle recovery, or logistics).
Invoice Processing & Reporting - Experience in accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and reconciling job costs.
Compliance & Non-Conformance Tracking - Background working with external contractors.
Data Analysis & Forecasting - Ability to analyse financial discrepancies, track estimated vs. actual job costs, and provide financial insights.
Claim Management - Familiarity with handling insurance compliance and processing damage claims.
Regulatory Knowledge - Understanding of VAT rates, contracts and logistics Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerBi Additional Required Key Skills & Attributes - A dynamic and driven individual who is highly adaptable and can thrive in a rapidly changing organisation.
