The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Tax, this role based in our Dublin office will be responsible for direct and indirect tax filings for multiple jurisdictions, tax reporting for consolidated and standalone financial statements and supporting teams in relation to transactions as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyzing tax laws in relevant countries to identify tax risks and opportunities.
* Participating in various compliance and advisory projects with other members of the tax, finance and legal teams.
* Assisting with certain lessee tax requirements e.g. beneficial ownership documents etc.
* Liaising with the Irish tax authorities on all documentary requirements such as residence certificates, tax registrations etc.
* Preparation of FATCA and CRS forms.
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on the delivery of month-end and quarter-end close activities.
* Identifying tax efficiencies and planning opportunities and ensure implementation of same.
* Driving continuous improvement within the team.
* Ad-hoc work as required by the Tax team.

Essential Skills and Experience:
* Fully Qualified in at least one of ACA, ACCA and AITI.
* Directly relevant PQE in a big 4 tax practice or industry.
* Significant direct and indirect tax experience in multiple jurisdictions.
* A solid understanding of international tax issues for aircraft leasing and general corporate transactions.
* Proven ability to problem-solve within tight deadlines.
* Capable of working to tight deadlines and under own initiative.
* Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
* Experience using Alphatax – tax compliance, provision and report functions.
* Exposure to numerous tax regimes.
