Our client is one of Ireland’s leading manufacturers of modular accommodation for the Irish market.
The Project Manager will report to the Contracts Manager and oversee project engineers and subcontractors.
Responsibilities include:
1. Managing a site workforce in a safe and diligent manner, to the highest possible standard, on time and in line with the specification and design information provided.
2. Taking a project from design phase to handover.
3. Managing Design Coordination workshops with design team, consultants, and trade contractors.
4. Ensuring design is fully coordinated prior to starting on site where possible.
5. Overseeing construction operations on designated sites.
6. Ensuring that work complies with building regulations where applicable.
7. Working with an appointed safety consultant to ensure all safety regulations are adhered to.
8. Coordinating day-to-day site activities and nominated subcontractors.
9. Liaising with Head office to ensure materials and labour are called to site when required.
10. Carrying out daily & weekly safety checks and ensuring appointed subcontractors are adhering to safety protocol.
11. Monitoring the construction programme and enabling subcontractors to carry out their works in accordance with their contract programme.
12. Ensuring quality checks are carried out at various stages of the build and ensuring QA checks are being carried out.
13. Liaising with local authority representatives and assigned certifiers to obtain handover of completed phases.
14. Dealing with any day-to-day problems which could hold up work as they arise.
15. Liaising closely with Contracts Manager, Quantity Surveyors, Site Managers, and Finishing Foreman to ensure a high standard of work is achieved.
16. Working closely with junior staff, subcontractors, engineers, and external utility companies.
17. Updating and reporting back to head office regularly on progress.
18. Liaising with clients and keeping them updated on progress and upcoming milestones.
19. Embracing digital technology & Modern Methods of Construction systems used by the company.
20. Organising and liaising with the factory to schedule deliveries.
Requirements:
* Experience with Modular Build projects (not essential).
* Worked with main/sub-contractor on large residential schemes.
* Liaise with Clients & subcontractors.
* Carry out QA checks and snagging.
* Organise and manage subcontractors.
Package: Salary based on experience, negotiable for the right candidates.
