Job Description
The successful candidate will be pro-active, confident and driven to deliver a high-quality HR service. You will have proven experience in the management of employee relations throughout the employee life-cycle, an excellent knowledge of employment law; disciplinary and grievance processes; HR compliance management, and HRIS management. You will be able to create strong working relationships with senior stakeholders and provide consistently sound HR advice.
The Main Responsibilities Include
1. Regularly review and update HR policies to align with best practices and legal requirements.
2. Implementing HR policies and HR procedures.
3. Handle employee relations matters such as disciplinary actions, grievances, performance management, and more.
4. Administer employee benefit programs and assist employees with benefit-related inquiries.
5. Sick Absence management.
6. Support performance appraisal processes.
7. Involved in recruitment and selection of new hires if required.
8. Collaborate closely with the management team, providing HR guidance and support.
9. Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of various scheduled and ad-hoc reports, to fulfill the needs of the HR team as well as business and external stakeholders.
10. Respond to general information requests from employees and managers.
11. Provide general administrative support to the team, participating in projects as required.
Qualifications
Education
1. Relevant qualification in Business/Human Resources Management.
Experience
1. Proven experience (min 1 year) in a HR Generalist role.
2. Proven experience of working on complex employee relations matters.
Any Required Licences / Certifications Or Membership
1. CIPD qualified (or part-qualified).
Skills & Abilities
1. Excellent knowledge of employment legislation.
2. Have excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate clearly and confidently on HR matters to a range of stakeholders.
3. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in handling personal, sensitive information.
