About the Job
The Accounts Assistant will report directly to the Director and be responsible for assisting with and completing various duties, including:
* Chasing customer late payments and monitoring debtor balances
* Entering supplier invoices onto the Purchase Ledger
* Preparing payments to suppliers
* Supplier statement reconciliation
* Month-end closing
* Managing customer invoice runs
* Producing monthly reports as required
* Liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal personnel
* Timely posting and reconciliation of all customer payments
* Evaluating credit limits
* Bank reconciliation
* Providing cover for other key tasks within the team as required
* Ad-hoc administration duties as requested
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should have previous experience working in a busy office environment and hold an Accounts Technician Qualification or be currently studying for the ATI qualification (desirable).
