Customer-Focused Desktop Engineer Opportunity
We are seeking a technically competent and customer-focused Desktop Engineer to support our client Intel at their site in Leixlip. This is an entry-level position that requires excellent written and face-to-face communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with the wider Global I.T support teams.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4:30pm, and Friday, 8am to 3:30pm.
Responsibilities:
* Provide 1st and 2nd level laptop/desktop support
* Monitor call management systems
* Support walk-in service centers, installs, breakfix, refresh, and training rooms
* Troubleshoot office software issues
* Support wireless office environments
* Participate in project-based assignments when required
* Participate in hardware/OS refresh activities adhering to strict PC refresh schedules
* Make regular off-site visits to Intel's warehouse, if necessary
* Participate in weekly audio-visual proactive maintenance schedules, logging and resolving issues, when required
Requirements:

* Be a self-motivator with the ability to work under minimal supervision
* Demonstrate knowledge of hardware
* Have experience in refresh/rollout activities
* Have proficient knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10, Windows 11, etc.) and the Microsoft Office suite
* Have manual handling experience
Desirable Experience:
