Job Title: Customer Service Experience and Convo Infrastructure Engineer
About the Role:The role will be focused on improving the customer service experience and convos infrastructure that enable Etsy to deliver efficient, high-quality, and scalable support to our buyers. The team for this role is an established squad at Etsy, with a mission to provide accurate information, and satisfactory, prompt resolutions to members when they reach support or sellers in order to deliver positive and consistent outcomes for our customers and the greater Etsy community.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with multiple engineers at various levels to gain critical onboarding about how Etsy designs and writes software.
* Work closely with stakeholders to improve existing processes by optimizing internal tools or creating new ones.
* Continuously learn from teammates and share insights.
* Push code to production early and often using continuous deployment systems.
* Maintain high standards of code quality through participation in code and design reviews.
Qualifications:
* Code quality is crucial, and you can help your team improve existing codebases.
* Have a knack for organization and breaking down large problems into smaller ones.
* Be autonomous, determined, and a fast learner.
* Confidently communicate efficiently and effectively.
* Familiar with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript etc.)
* Familiar with the PHP programming language.
