Site Engineer/Assistant Project Manager (Piling)
Site Engineer/Assistant Project Manager (Piling) North Dublin/ Dublin €70-80k Required for leading Piling contractor based in Dublin. Work closely with contractors, supervisors and Project Managers to ensure that Project Pile Design is implemented safely, efficiently and technically correct.
Role:
1. Produce and maintain method statements, risk assessments.
2. Prepare detailed Site Instructions and brief site crews.
3. Monitor any changes to works scope and ensure they are implemented.
4. Carry out and complete lift plans.
5. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with pile design.
6. Work closely with the Construction Supervisor to ensure safe working is planned and executed.
7. Review and report on soil and site conditions to ensure Pile Design requirements are being achieved.
8. Review and implement Engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications to comply with project scope.
9. Ensure design information is used and checked in accordance with Quality Procedures and industry standards.
10. Manage Projects for timely and cost-efficient completion.
11. Attend prestart, progress, and completion meetings.
12. Compile project records upon completion of works.
13. Manage & issue site testing engineers, review reports and report.
Requirements:
1. Degree in Civil Engineering or any other related fields.
2. Have practical expertise with contemporary piling methods including Rotary Bored, CFA, Driven, Diaphragm wall, and Secant Wall.
3. Experience delivering technically difficult projects (related to foundation, piling, and structures) through on-site management of construction activities.
4. Complete practical understanding of the building of reinforced concrete, including familiarity with rebar drawings, bending schedules, temporary works schemes, formwork systems, and the placement of concrete.
