The team and the opportunity
At EY, we are expanding our Microsoft Services and Cloud Group and specifically building our Technology Consulting practice. Due to this expansion, we are seeking to recruit high achieving Cloud Engineers to be part of our growing business.
We are recruiting Cloud Engineers primarily at Senior Consultant and Manager levels. We are seeking individuals with significant client-side experience or individuals who have gained project and technology delivery experience within large, recognised organisations. We have extensive team growth plans in place with significant opportunities for candidates with drive and ambition to progress their career at pace.
You will play a key role in supporting the development and strengthen existing client relationships and help our clients, who are leaders in their respective industry sector, navigate the complex issues facing their business. Client responsibilities
10. Help to build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers.
11. Participate in presentations and proposals for medium complex projects or elements of highly complex projects.
12. Create high-quality work products and act as a subject matter resource on one or more services, leveraging knowledge and experience to shape services to client problems.
13. Understand all our service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients.
14. Build strong internal relationships within Technology Consulting and across other services.

20. Cloud Platform Engineering experience in one of the Enterprise Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) – subscription/account design, networking, services deployment etc

25. Problem solving and troubleshooting with an excellent eye for detail
To qualify for the role, you must have:
26. 3-5 years of relevant experience working in a similar role/ environment.
27. A passion for Cloud Engineering.
28. Experience in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining Cloud systems (Azure Cloud, AWS, GCP).
29. Have exposure and hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code languages like Terraform, ARM, Bicep, Powershell, Python or similar.
30. Experience in all aspects of Networking
31. Experience with implementing code quality analysis, vulnerability scan and compliance validation.
32. Experience in Linux/Windows Administration with scripting capability in one or more languages – Python, Bash, PowerShell and Groovy.
33. Experience of deployment and configuration of DevOps pipelines, code repositories, automated testing etc.
34. Experience with application load balancing solutions for scaling and HA.
35. Equivalent Associate or Expert level vendor certifications on the Microsoft Stack, AWS, GCP, IBM Cloud
36. Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
37. Have attention to detail.
Ideally, you also will have:
38. Experience of working with cloud hosted platforms.
39. Relevant industry certification.
40. Hands-on experience in working with Agile methods for software delivery Scrum, SAFE, Kanban, Lean, TDD and CI/CD.
41. Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
42. Workflow management using Agile collaboration tools from main vendors.
43. Excellent presentation skills.
44. Experience in one or more of the following areas:
