Due to continued growth my client wishes to recruit a Preconstruction / Bid Manager for their Construction bid submissions.
The Bid Manager will join a dedicated Bid team based in their Head Office in Leinster.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing bid submissions for projects across a range of sectors including:
* Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical
* Commercial
* Residential and more.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the bid process.
* Assist with the development and implementation of bid strategies, aligning with company objectives and client requirements.
* Coordinate and manage bid teams, ensuring clear communication and task delegation for the bid submission.
* Review and interpret tender documentation, identifying risks, opportunities, and compliance requirements.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather technical, commercial, and financial information to inform our submissions.
* Assist in the preparation and delivery of compelling bid presentations and proposals.
* Conduct post-bid analysis and feedback sessions to continuously improve the bid process.
* Work closely with design, estimating, and procurement teams to develop comprehensive preconstruction plans.
* Evaluate and mitigate potential risks associated with design, planning, and project execution.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project requirements.
* Support the development of cost-effective and innovative solutions during preconstruction.
* Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Monitor and report on preconstruction progress, budgets, and timelines.
Specific Requirements:
* 7 years relevant industry experience
* Excellent command of both written and spoken English
* Experience specifically focused on managing bid submissions
* Experience in Microsoft Office, CRM software and Tender Portals
