About Your New Job
This role involves working closely with the management accountant and the overall team, supporting all areas of the business across the finance function.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
* Mailbox management for a high volume of Supplier invoices to be processed to forecast files.
* Supplier statement reconciliations.
* Assisting with other ad hoc Finance related tasks.
* Query resolution.
* Developing strong relationships within the office across Operations/Sales and Management.
* Customer statement distribution.
* Preparing and processing payment runs on a weekly basis.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Prior experience in Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger.
* Knowledge of financial systems, particularly SAP and MS Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail skills with high levels of accuracy.
