As a Catering Assistant / Relief Cook at Haven Bay Care Centre, you will be integral to the efficient operation of our kitchen and dining areas.
Your role encompasses a range of responsibilities, from basic kitchen tasks to maintaining a clean environment and supporting the chef in providing a pleasant dining experience for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Kitchen Duties: Your duties include food preparation, such as chopping, peeling, and assisting with meal assembly.
Cleaning and Hygiene: Your duties include keeping work surfaces, dining furniture, and kitchen surroundings clean and organised, following a schedule.
Support and Assistance: You will aid the chef in meal preparation and carry out delegated tasks. Checking and receiving deliveries is also part of your responsibilities.
Health and Safety: Adhering to company policies and health and safety guidelines.
Collaboration and Training: Effective communication with the kitchen team and participation in training sessions are key components of your role.
Requirements:
Prior experience is a plus but not required.
