Job Description
You will be a member of the team responsible for managing IT Infrastructure and delivering End User Computing (EUC) services to all SSC employees.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee IT Infrastructure used for delivering End User Computing (EUC) services, which includes Endpoints, authentication and authorisation services, single sign-on, remote access, desktop virtualization, end-point security, file and print services.
* Directly responsible for managing and implementing EUC VDI environment running via Citrix on Nutanix NC2 in both Cloud and internal DCs.
* Responsible for designing, architecting and implementation of End User IT solutions, along with change management activities.
* Review performance of EUC services with IT service providers, provide recommendations, and oversee resolution of operational issues.
* Provide third/fourth level support for incidents and problems in designated areas of expertise and assist our vendor partners as needed.
Requirements
* Degree in computer engineering, computer science or equivalent.
* At least 7 years of experience managing an End User IT Environment. Broad technology experience encompassing architecture, network design and IT operations in a global organisation.
* Extensive Windows 10/11 experience covering image development and deployment at scale.
* Extensive End Point management tool (SCCM, 1E, Intune, Jamf etc) experience covering implementation and use of said tools.
* Familiarity with MACOS and Dell Wyse.
* Extensive knowledge of Desktop Virtualization, Citrix & Nutanix.
* Ability to apply the latest technology best practices and trends in delivering IT services, and in establishing the overall direction and control of the IT function.
* Good working knowledge in Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Single Sign-On, LDAP/LDAPS, 2 Factor Authentication, Encryption, EntraID, and Windows Server.
* A good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodology, ideally Jira based.
* Enterprise Architecture or Microsoft Certification / Citrix Certification / Nutanix Certification.
* Exposure to ITIL (Incident, Problem & Change management).
* Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership.
* Excellent Communication – verbal and written.
