To our tech hub in Prague, we are looking for an energetic professional to join our Enterprise Information Technology team to help us identify and deliver business solutions, in partnership with our company’s Corporate Treasury and Information Technology colleagues. Our company’s Corporate Treasury department manages the company’s capital structure, FX Risk Management, Global liquidity management, pension, and insurance. These critical functions operate on a global scale, supporting our business in over 130 countries and with exposure to dynamic financial markets and a highly regulated banking sector.
You will be responsible for the following
* Develop new interfaces or functionality for Treasury GLM (Global Liquidity Management) products and support enhancement requests and bug fixes
* Acquire business process knowledge to improve our understanding of the end-to-end business processes and outcomes
* Support the Product Line needs to grow and develop as a Finance IT professional and to maximize impact of own contributions
* Make sure the products we support are functional and reliable, providing a stable, secure environment that provides value to the clients
* Actively contribute towards improving and scaling up the Platform - via Everything as Coe approach, automation, CI/CD deployments, etc.
* Troubleshoot production issues across services and various levels of the technical stack
Expected experience and skills
* Core software engineering skills and strong development in any of these languages: Java, XML, Python or C++
* Working with Oracle and/or MySQL Databases
* Experience working with Web Servers. : Apache Tomcat and Nginx
* Web protocols such HTTP/HTTPS, WebSocket and REST
* CI/CD hands-on experience (Jenkins, Cloud Bees CD, GitHub Actions)
* Hands-on experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) Cloud (or other Clouds) and related services., EC2, S3 and RDS
* Know your way around Linux and the Unix Shell
* Structured thinking and ability to simplify communications on technical issues
* Strong problem-solving and "can do" mindset
Preferred experience and skills
* Working in agile teams and knowledge of the Kanban framework
* Any experience with SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle)
* Basic QA and testing knowledge
* Know your way around Windows Servers and PowerShell
* Knowledge of Infrastructure and Configuration as Code technologies like Terraform, Ansible, etc.
* Experience working with Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions
