Job Title: Training and Development Specialist
Duration: 12-month contract
Location: Dublin 2
Salary: €50,000 - €65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
About the Role
The Training and Development Specialist will be responsible for designing and managing training programs, conducting training needs analysis, and implementing learning solutions across the organisation.
This role reports to the Training and Development Manager and contributes to the continuous development of the organisation's workforce.
Responsibilities
1. Support the delivery of strategic training goals aligned with the company's business plans by conducting consultations with managers to identify opportunities for enhancing employee performance through learning.
2. Contribute to the annual organisation-wide training needs analysis and prepare an organisational training plan. Develop and manage individual and departmental training plans.
3. Design, develop, and implement blended learning solutions using authoring tools and digital platforms to create flexible and innovative training programs.
4. Ensure Learning and Development processes meet Quality Management System requirements and design training that adheres to best practices including accessibility and usability standards.
5. Participate in the performance development program, support coaching and mentoring, and track progress against KPIs.
6. Ensure effective communication of training initiatives to internal and external stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, HR Business Partners, and external vendors.
Requirements
1. A relevant third-level degree in Learning and Development, HR, Education, or a related discipline.
2. 3+ years of experience in a similar Training and Development Specialist role including training needs analysis, instructional design, training facilitation, and the delivery of blended learning solutions.
3. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and learning management systems. Experience with learning design software and familiarity with learning technologies.
4. Membership in relevant professional bodies and evidence of continuous professional development are preferred.
