Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified welding trainer/instructor to deliver high-quality training programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Developing and delivering lesson plans, course notes, and presentation materials.
* Supervising trainees and ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety procedures, and correct methods.
* Presenting topics to groups or coaching on a one-to-one basis.
* Completing on-the-job phase assessments and performance reviews for apprentices.
* Coordinating and testing company weld tests for new and existing employees.
* Giving constructive feedback to trainees.
* Carrying out welds for testing new weld procedures.
* Performing other duties as required.
Qualifications, Requirements, and Experience:
* Ability to read, interpret, and explain complex drawings.
* High-standard welding skills and ability to explain different processes (MIG, MAG, TIG, MMA, Gas Welding, Submerged Arc, Orbital, Soldering, and Brazing).
* Relevant welding qualification.
* Minimum 5 years post-qualification welding experience.
* Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Pro-Engineer is an advantage.
* Recognized Trainer/Instructor qualification desirable.
* Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Office applications.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* CSWIP Inspector qualified desirable.
