Position Overview:
As part of its business expansion strategy, CSC GFM is seeking an Transfer Agent to support the investor activities for our Private Equity and Hedge clients. The candidate will maintain the fund administration system used to manage all investor records, handle investor queries, process investor capital activity, support investor AML/KYC validations, interface with clients as well as manage multiple client deliverables ensuring superior client service and delivery.
Responsibilities include:
1. Be the primary point of contact and interact with clients and their investors on all Transfer Agency matters
2. Keep track of multiple deliverables, deadlines, and follow-ups
3. Preparation and review of investor correspondence (Word mail merge & System Generated Output)
4. Process and review investor activity such as subscriptions, capital calls, distributions, redemptions, etc.
5. Complete AML/KYC verification services, including support document validation and screenings
6. Monitor client email accounts and respond to investor inquiries
7. Manage multiple portals and databases
8. Identify core weaknesses in any aspect of service delivery. Plan and deliver solutions in coordination with the operational groups.
9. Assist with updating internal policies and procedures, as needed
10. Handle ad-hoc client requests/needs as they arise
11. Maintain governance and responsibility for all operational processes.
12. Provide effective feedback
13. Support open projects and provide updates
14. Oversee junior team members, prioritize their assignments, and review their work
15. Support training of new staff
16. Support system enhancements and testing efforts
Required Experience:
17. Business degree or equivalent experience
18. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
19. Attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
20. Advanced Excel and Word proficiency
21. AML/KYC background preferred
22. Strong organizational skill and ability to multi-task
23. Adaptable to new and changing technologies
24. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
25. Knowledge of Partnerships, Private Equity, Real Estate or Hedge Funds
