1.0 Position Summary:
• The Warehouse Team Member is responsible for handling and maintaining materials flows and products in accordance with company guidelines.
• Liaising with our supply chain team and External Warehousing suppliers to ensure stock accuracy and smooth operations.
• Applies lean tools to drive continuous improvement & process reliability.
2.0 Key Responsibilities and End Results: (Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to the following):
• Inbound Receiving:
Receiving inbound material from suppliers and third parties.Execute same day receipt administration from external/internal purchase orders.Ensure all relevant delivery paperwork is filed correctly.Coordinate incoming inspection of bought in materials with relevant QA resources.Work with Programs and Supply Chain to manage deliveries of New Materials which may not be setup on our systems (SAP), e.g., Manual label Resins and BIC's to maintain traceability.• Inventory Management:
Issue materials to production line using FIFO.Supporting Cycle Count/Stock Take programs.Coordinate material disposition Scrap, rescreen, rework etc.Coordinate materials being returned to supplier or customers.
(RMA/ RTV)Ensure high level of inventory transaction accuracy.• Manage the Warehouse capacity, liaise with supply chain and External Warehouse (EW) on deliveries and shipments.
Manage customer's recyclable packaging e.g., trays and pallets etc.Maintaining the Warehouse capacity, daily review of current stock levels of finished goods i.e., pallet spaces availability in Jabil warehouse.Liaise with Supply Chain to compare current stocks levels against shipping forecast i.e., determine what batches need to be sent to External Warehouse (EW).Organize the loading and shipping of the finished goods to EW i.e., Contacting EW in terms of collection times, dates etc.Liaise with Supply Chain and EW on deliveries e.g., sorting out delivery issues where we have insufficient documentation and communications.Coordinate outbound shipment from external warehouse to customers.• Assist in meeting targets set by the Operations/Supply Chain functions on Key Performance Indicators.
• Ensure compliance to standard operating procedures (SOP) and recommend improvements where necessary to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct any relevant/additional activities set out by direct Manager.
• Strong focus on H&S.
• Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with GMP in all practices, recording of events and processes.
• Ensure compliance with all learnings from all GMP training events.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed, based on the evolution of the company and the requirements of the department/position.3.0 Job Specifications: The minimum education and experience required to perform this job competently.
• Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
• Licence to operate counter balance and Reach forklift vehicle.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a warehousing environment.
