Overall Purpose of the Job
Basic preparation of food and beverages, simple cooking, transporting and serving of meals, general Kitchen and Restaurant duties.
Main duties and responsibilities
* Deliver high quality FoodSpace services at all times.
* Assist in the supervision and control of all food and beverage items from the Kitchen.
* Ensure that the service of all meals is to the standard laid down by the Company and meets the Client’s specification and Head Chefs Standards.
* Obtain supplies and purchases from Company appointed suppliers or site specific.
* Control of raw materials and portions are to the Apleona standards.
* Prepare all food using fresh and local produce.
* Maintain health & safety standards at all times.
Qualifications and Experience
* Recognised Professional Culinary Qualification or 2+ Years in a comparative Kitchen environment.
* Previous recent experience within a working kitchen.
* Knowledge of Kitchen Health & Safety Procedures and all Legislative Requirements.
* Stock Control.
* High Quality Food Production.
* Permission to work on a full time basis in Ireland.
Working Pattern
Monday - Sunday, 39 hour shift pattern.
