Who will you be working for?
You will be working for one of the largest global providers of insurance, annuities and employee benefit programmes with around 90 million customers in over 60 countries. They have two offices in Ireland - Dublin and Galway. This position will primarily be based out of their Dublin city centre office and there will be a requirement to be on-site 2 days per week. Working as an IT Risk & Governance Analyst, you will have an excellent opportunity to be part of a progressive and technologically advanced organisation.
What will you be working on?
You will be an integral part of a team who are working on a critical EU regulation that is coming into play towards the end of January 2025. This EU regulation solves an important problem in the EU financial regulation by protecting, detecting, containing, recovering and repairing capabilities against ICT-related incidents. You will be working within the Governance & Risk workstream, ensuring that the appropriate frameworks are in place for this EU Regulation and that implications on existing documentation is understood and mapped. Related deliverables exist in relation to underlying Controls that are in place and how they may need to change, related to changes to Policies and Procedures. Policy writing, risk frameworks, control definitions and updates are all key functions for this role.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for candidates with a background in audit/risk management, ideally in the IT sector. You will be well versed in information security governance and risk, control assessment and compliance. You will have strong experience of reviewing, adjusting and publishing formal documentation that can be published as policies. The ideal candidate would therefore understand not only the implications of the incoming Regulation, but how that may feed through into existing documentation. Strong communication and negotiation skills are imperative for this position, along with a keen eye for detail.
