Project Engineer
Role
This is an 18- Month contract role opportunity. The project is a new, state-of-the-art global continuous glucose monitoring manufacturing facility. The facility will contain a highly automated and efficient manufacturing operation with an emphasis on green technologies.
The Project Engineer will support a portfolio of CapEx construction projects, focusing on technical project execution, quality control, and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with the project Manager, the project Engineer will ensure the successful implementation of engineering solutions and support project progress from concept through to final handover.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Collaborate to the delivery of capital projects, ensuring all technical aspects are in compliance with GMP and industry standards.
• Provide technical expertise to contractors and internal teams, ensuring project work meets clients’ specifications, safety protocols and quality standards.
• Assist in developing and maintaining project standards, processes, and controls to command engineering project execution and ensure reliable, high-quality project outcomes.
• Work closely with cross functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues, attend project timelines, and stakeholder’s requirements.
• Document and build the necessary site project procedural standards and controls to govern Capital Projects’ execution.
• Provide functional expertise to deliver project solutions for improvement programs via enhancements including initiatives to optimise reliability, availability and uptime as well as Quality and cost drivers.
• Drives to a high standard of Quality and Safety at all stages within the project life cycle in order to ensure Zero Compliance and Safety observations.
• Perform all duties in accordance with GMP requirements, SOPs and controlled documents.
• Will be flexible to take on additional tasks and responsibilities at the discretion of the Engineering Projects Lead
Requirements
• 6+ years’ experience in project engineering within an operational GMP facility.
• BSc. degree in an Engineering discipline is preferred.
• Ability to support project teams and collaborate effectively with contractors and vendors to achieve project goals.
• Demonstrate strong ethics in adhering to company procedures and policies, regulatory standards, and our clients’ expectations.
• Effective communicator with the ability to work well within a cross-functional team to achieve shared goals.
