The Role

The International Renewables and Energy Systems Integration (IRESI) Group is a research centre housed in the School of Business. IRESI's research focuses on propelling sustainable energy systems into the future by helping individuals, organisations, and institutions in the pursuit of a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable energy landscape. We are seeking a research assistant to provide research and support for this vibrant and highly productive academic department.
This highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Researcher will join our team, focusing on the commercialization of renewable energy innovations as part of the Research Ireland project RENEW. This role combines technical expertise in system enhancement and machine learning with strategic business development skills to drive the adoption and market success of innovative solutions.
Salary
Post Doctoral Researcher Level 1(2024): €44,847 – €51,313 p.a.(1-6 points)
Senior-Postdoctoral Researcher (2024): €52,716 p.a. (1 point)
Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
