Job Title: Commercial Sales Manager
Job Summary
The Commercial Sales Manager is responsible for driving commercial sales within their AutoZone location. This role involves developing and maintaining positive relationships with commercial customers by managing product acquisition and delivery, providing exceptional customer service, and staying up-to-date on automotive parts and inventory.
Key Responsibilities
1. Achieve sales growth and hit targets by successfully maintaining and developing commercial sales.
2. Serve as the primary contact for commercial customers, actively maintaining open lines of communication between AutoZone and commercial customers.
3. E nsure efficient delivery of products by planning routes and managing drivers, while generating accurate documentation for each delivery.
4. Act as a consultative partner to commercial customers, maintaining expert knowledge on automotive parts and industry, and conducting research to ensure customers receive the 'right part at the right price.'
5. Maintain accurate records and billing for commercial accounts, process returns, and reconcile accounts.
6. Visit commercial accounts to ensure they are serviced and deliveries are made as promised, contributing to the AutoZone 'one-team' environment by assisting customers and colleagues with various aspects of the business.
7. Build and maintain strong relationships with the management team, assist with training and developing drivers, commercial specialists, and other colleagues as directed by the Store Manager or District Manager.
8. Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring colleagues implement safety practices, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
9. Follow proper accident and claim procedures, comply with safe driving rules and procedures, and ensure all Commercial Zoners have approved driver status.
10. P roperly maintain vehicle(s) and report any vehicle maintenance issues.
Requirements
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. B asic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
3. Effective leadership skills, excellent communication, decision-making abilities, and strong selling skills.
4. Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
5. Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including holidays, evenings, and weekend shifts.
