Job Summary – Stores Assistant (Part Time – 5 mornings per week)
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Stores Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the depot. This involves assisting in the day-to-day activities of depot operations, including the management of stock, transportation, and logistics, as well as supporting the safety and cleanliness of the depot.
Responsibilities:
1. Depot Maintenance & Equipment
o Maintain depot ensuring it is kept clean, tidy, and clear of obstructions.
o Ensure the inside and outside of premises are kept clean and tidy and clear from obstruction.
o Ensure the racking is maintained in a safe and tidy manner and that all relevant stock types are stored together.
o Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety procedures for the depot.
o Conduct daily checks of Forklift and file all reports.
o Liaise with external suppliers and contractors (Fire Equipment, Pest control, etc).
2. Inventory Management
o Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, including receiving and storing stock.
o Ensure all products are inspected for quality and meet company standards before distribution.
o Coordinate outbound stock for upcoming jobs and maintenance.
o Complete regular cycle counts.
o Complete consignment counts each Friday, ensuring numbers match Urbis.
o Coordinate with the Project Managers to ensure the schedule is correct and all jobs are picked.
o Create, process, and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procurement policies.
o Transfer stock from Deadsure reports each morning.
o Transfer stock to maintenance team vehicles.
o Order office supplies as required.

Education
Third level qualification in logistics, business, supply chain, or a similar area is desirable but not essential.
Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience of working in a warehouse, logistics, or operations position.
* Proficient in warehouse management systems and MS Office.
* Detail oriented with strong organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Safe Pass.
