Our client, a well-established Financial Brokerage that has experienced recent growth through acquisition, has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Financial Advisor to join the team.
The successful candidate will have a client-centric approach whilst being sales-focused and self-motivated.
Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the on-going management of a Book of existing clients.
2. Developing long standing relationships with new and existing clients to ensure repeat business.
3. Ability to assess and analyse clients' financial circumstances to determine their requirements.
4. Make recommendations and provide solutions to clients' requirements.
5. Manage implementation of product recommendations.
6. Prepare regular existing client portfolio reviews.
7. Contacting prospective customers and delivering on their life and pension requirements.
8. Ensure Client CRM is kept updated and all information input correctly.
9. Ensure a high level of product knowledge.
10. Weekly communications with the Sales Manager to ensure sales targets are achieved and/or surpassed.
Requirements
1. Proven experience in a similar Financial Advisory position, ideally within a retail intermediary/brokerage.
2. Can demonstrate business development and relationship management skills.
3. QFA Qualified (at a minimum).
4. First-rate knowledge of life, pensions, and investment products.
5. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to include face-to-face client interactions and a confident phone manner.
6. Excellent IT skills. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
7. Self-motivated, driven, solution-focused, and able to work on your own initiative.
8. Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the continued positivity and growth of the company.
9. Able to operate and demonstrate the highest levels of integrity.
10. Identify potential upsells to cross-sell products and future sales opportunities.
11. Understanding and appreciation of adhering to compliance and regulatory guidelines.
